New website launched for Desiccant DryAir Systems.
Business owner John and his sister Karen contacted BY Design, as they wanted to fully revamp their existing website.
One of the core features of their website is a library of PDF spec sheets which relate to the range of standard units. These PDFs can be accessed and downloaded by customers via the website.
The complication with this process is that the PDFs need to contain live data from an internal Excel sheet that John updates sometimes daily. So we worked with their internal tech team to create a process where the Excel sheet outputs PDF files to their server each time John makes a change; we then used a subdomain to host these PDFs to the outside world, so that the live site can then fetch them for the customer, using a secure link between their server and our website server.
Alongside this, we completed a full site redesign, improving the user experience, streamlining the content and creating clear calls to action.
Desiccant have been and continue to be involved in some amazing projects, both globally (cooling system for the Qatar 2022 world cup stadia) and in the UK, including contracts for the MOD.
