NWPALS are based locally in Morecambe, and specialise in patient transportation, first aid training and event cover.

The website features an AI Chatbot which runs on the OpenAI framework, using a ChatGPT Assistant who is tasked with analysing the contents of the website and then answering questions from customers via the chat window.

The website serves two key purposes. A hub for NHS staff and private clients to book ambulance journeys online via two linked forms, and an e-commerce platform on which to promote their accredited first aid training courses. The course booking system allows both direct card payments and purchase order requests, and also has the ability to handle offline enquiries for courses with no current dates assigned, allowing NWPALS to promote a wider range of bespoke courses and those available by request only. NWPALS also have a new training facility in Heysham which is available for hire, with enquiries via the website.
