They are a charity on a mission to make life better and easier for men with cancer. For them to enjoy life and have fun by connecting them both in-person and online in supportive environments and through the medium of sport.
As part of the migration, we conducted the following work:
- Migration of the domain name from .co.uk to .org.uk.
- Upgrade of the website from PHP7 to PHP8 (security best practice).
- Upgrade of all outdated plugins and licence renewals.
- Removal of the forum from the website (no longer used).
- Removal of an old (expensive) events management system from the website (no longer used).
- Full security audit, including new firewall, and the removal of all redundant plugins.
- Provision of online training so the team can carry out basic website edits themselves.
