This system allows salons and other trade-related clients to sign up for an account via a web form. There is then a manual approval stage, where the business owners can approve all new trade accounts, after which a discount is automatically applied for that client at the cart and checkout stage of the buying process.

This will save valuable time, as opposed to creating separate discount codes for each new trade client, and is also a separate income stream for the business, by promoting sales through other related, trusted businesses who want to sell their hair extensions and products.

A similar method could also be used to reward long-standing clients by allowing them to sign up to a loyalty scheme that offers fixed-rate discount, or a points-based system that offers a periodic bonus or discount.
