We ensure that the process of moving your website is as stress-free as possible. All we need is a few initial details, and to be put in touch with your existing host, and we can take care of the rest.
We offer two different packages. Standard website hosting which includes the items in the green box, or monthly website management plans which include support updating the content of your website including products, courses and blog articles.
Your website will be hosted on a fast, high-spec, secure VPC (virtual private cloud) server located in a UK data centre.
At BY Design, we continually invest in our servers each year to ensure they are equipped with the latest technology and software. In 2023, we invested over £30,000 in our new VPC.
What about migrating emails?
Whilst it is possible to provide mailboxes at the server level, we advise all of our business customers to use either Microsoft 365 or Google G Suite for email services. We work with a trusted IT partner who delivers both of these services. Further details available on request.

We will get straight back to you to confirm that the move is possible, what the timescale is, and the cost.
We will liaise directly with your existing website host to arrange a mutually convenient time to move the website, along with any domain names.
Your website files and database will be added to our server, fully tested, then your domain name(s) will be updated to pointed to the new hosting.
We recommend a fully security audit for all websites undergoing migration. We can also arrange a content audit, and a plugin/extension audit.
Once live, we will confirm completion of the migration and will look after the website for you going forwards.
