It was a pleasure to receive an email last week from a former customer, Geraldine, of Mindflow, asking about the possibility of moving her website back to BY Design after two years away.
Of course we said yes, and initiated the migration process.
Firstly, we completed an audit of the existing website, to identify any updates required, and any potential recurring costs. We identified a number of plugins which attract an annual fee, although on discussing these with Geraldine, it turns out she didn’t need them, which saved her a few hundred pounds.
Following this, we agreed the move date, organised the DNS access, and migrated the website to our server. The whole process was completed within one working day, with no downtime.
Mindflow was founded in 2014, with the aim to raise awareness, through teaching, training and coaching about the power of the human mind to heal, build mental capacity and resilience, navigate life’s challenges and transitions, to move forward in a direction of positive growth, to live healthier, happier, purposeful and productive lives.
